In China, azaleas symbolize womanhood, temperance, fragile passion, and “Take care of yourself for me”.

As i sat outside for a change, to admire my Azalea bushes that the beautiful pair of cardinals have made their home year after year my mind took me back to memories of yesterday and those weekend drives she took me on.

“How had I even known the name of this plant?” I wondered to myself. And further thought that if she never would have dragged me along those long and windy back roads, I perhaps would never have known the joy that nature has provided me for my entire adult life and the pleasure looking at all the many colors, shapes and sizes or the laughter I feel inside when i know their names.

I promise you that you have a purpose in this world, I promise you that regardless if only one person in this whole universe knows your name, you still have a purpose, you may not yet believe it so a greater question would be, “what would happen if you were never given a name?”

When I did some research on Azaleas in other cultures I smiled as the interpretation was provided 💗
