I forgot it was Christmas Eve…

“And quite literally nothing was stirring not even a mouse…

The stockings were all taken down with care…

And praying my mother is smiling down upon us all, from up there…

And my Dad in bed early and outside the door, the sky seems pitch black,

My children and I are all packed up for tomorrow is our long journey back…

I miss you so very much Mom that it makes me heartsick You loved us all so deeply there would never be a more perfect mother that I would’ve ever picked….

So I say to one and I say to all,
Hold your loved ones closer this year as one never knows when the good Lord will call…”
